The cabin area is located in beautiful Dalsbygda, only a 20 minute drive from Røros. A wide variety of ski trails available in immediate vicinity. Røros Alpinanlegg Hummelfjell, the local alpine skiing facilities, is just 9 km away.
The building plots in Jakobsåsen are all placed on the leeward side in a forest of mountain birch 850 meters above sea level, and the cabin area has good sun conditions both during summer and winter. All the plots are facing southeast, with a splendid view of the river Glomma, Hummelfjell and the mountain ranges surrounding Røros.
