The cabin area is located in beautiful Dalsbygda, only a 20 minute drive from Røros. A wide variety of options for hiking, cycling and skiing in immediate vicinity. The nearby lake Sætersjøen is ideal for both fishing, and bathing on hot summer days.
The building plots in Jakobsåsen are all placed on the leeward side in a forest of mountain birch 850 meters above sea level, and the cabin area has good sun conditions both during summer and winter. All the plots are facing southeast, with a splendid view of the river Glomma, Hummelfjell and the mountain ranges surrounding Røros.

The lake Sætersjøen is only a short distance away from the cabin area, and is a great place to go fishing.

With Forollhogna national park as your closest neighbor, it’s the simplest of things to go for a hike.
